I have owned this bus for 30yrs - see my 20yrs & 30yrs posts.
The Twins nearly have their licences and Eldest Son has left home so time to sell.
As you would think this bus is very original and well used.
The interior could do with a clean and the exterior a paint.
I have a rare dickie seat (from a '74 so weave different) so this could be a 9 seater but have never got it complianced.
If fact reading the rego it has been a 5 seat passenger car for 30yrs!
Thats ok as we only ever had 5 people in it and 2 dogs.
Front seats have retractable seat belts, dickie seat has none but will need a lap sash, back seats have all original VW belts.
Passenger side door lock broken thanks to someone who tried to break in.
Exterior has a bad respray over originial paint and various rattle cans jobs by me over the years.
From what I can tell I am the 3rd so one of the other 2 had a ding as the Driver door is not original (no holes for trim) and a very poor weld job over the wheel arch repair. However I have never had an accident in the bus.

RUST:
Battery tray
Drivers side headlight surround
Front skin seam
Small window frame only (i.e. not body) behind driver.

Engine is 2L twin carb and again very original, even has charcoal canister.
Engine rebuilt in 1990 and new heads 2006.
Drives well but showing it age and not sure about oil leaks and passing rego.
Number Plates will not be going with vehicle.
Will try to help a QLD buyer get rego transfer but Interstate will be unregistered.
I hope this Bus goes to a family to be used as much as we have. Price negotiable if you have Twins!
