Lady owner passed away recently at 100 years of age and drove until she was 98. Son is selling as he has no need for additional vehicle.

"Thank you for sending me the photos. It was very generous of you and much appreciated. I didn't get any response from the VW Show so I am at a loss as to how to proceed.
It is a 1966 model, delivered in Nov 1967. It is one owner, my mother, who recently died. Present mileage is 97,600 miles, and mechanically it is very sound as is the body and floor pan. Tyres and electrics are A ok. Some of the door
seals, roof lining, and carpets, need replacing, and the respray was not as good as it could be. However, it is totally original, and I think it is not unrealistically priced despite these deficiencies. From what I have seen it is a very rare vehicle, and therefore collectable.

The interior is not as bad as Patrick makes out. He was amazed that his mother could drive a vehicle without aircon or power steering.
Would probably buy myself if Bus was sold
