When you say "little rust", do you mean "it has a little rust" or "there is little rust compared to most"??

frenzix - December 10th, 2004 at 09:58 PM

just a quick question, doesn't the rust preventative system work?

ColumBUS - December 11th, 2004 at 10:21 PM

rust prevention stpos more rust, but doesnt decrese existing rust. they work a treat

twoguns - December 12th, 2004 at 08:12 AM

i got a rust inhibitor on my bus. when i did all the checking, they said they dont do all to inhibbit rust that is already there. only slow it a little. they are more for good steel only. you will get surface oxidisation with an inhibitor but not actual rust. they run an elctric current thru the body. so you have to have a good clean car. also the problem with older cars is the steel is thicker, so you need the biggest unit you can get.

hope your sale goes well fish, its gotta go to a good home sooenr or later. need another one to be loved and cherished.

The ones that give you encouragement know how much it costs to do a bus.

Thing is , if this was in England it would have been snapped up.

Over here people still think they can get a restored split for $5k.

Cheers
Dave
