why would you buy a new car for that price only to drive down the road and see every second person with the same car and it depreciate about 5k a year
when you can have this baby ,have every one comment on how cool it is and watch it appreciate in value .

57kombi - December 11th, 2004 at 07:32 PM

57kombi - December 12th, 2004 at 07:40 PM

Didnt Hitler drive one of these.

Cheers
Dave

57 Chook Shed - December 13th, 2004 at 12:20 PM

Yeah Dave, I think he did.
Hitler also knew someone who`s mate`s brother had one with the engine all exposed, it stuck out the back way more than this one and it was all chromed everything.

57kombi - December 14th, 2004 at 09:13 AM

I know the one, hitler drove it in the Baja 1000.
Came third If I recall.

I believe that was the first baja split in the world.
I bet its in the Wolfsburg museum.

Cheers
Dave

57 Chook Shed - December 14th, 2004 at 03:44 PM

Nah, you`re full of shit!
Ferdinand Porsche built the first one, he raced that in the Heinlich 2000 race at Bundlesburg (just outside of Rhuntfahrten).
Get your facts straight dude.
Graham.

For someone with that attitude towards the VW community you seem to be making allot of posts.

I was thinking of doing that anyway,
fit a curved one and call it a splay.

I think it would be safer being able to see more of the road.
Might have to get the grinder out.
Have you got rid of yours yet, or have you changed your mind???

Cheers
Dave
