I was fortunate enough to meet Jeff and his mates at the Valla event this year and did a feature shoot on both his 56 oval as well as this ultra-evil
65 ratrod beetle. He contacted me this morning to let me know its up for grabs at a measly $5000 - a real bargain! The car is based in Sydney. Serious
buyers can u2u me for his contact details or post a message.
I've cut n pasted a little of the article with some specs for you to read.....
Sorry Jeff has moved to QLD (apologies for any inconvenience!)
---------------------------------
"The look we wanted to achieve was that of a matt black hi-boy style of hot-rod of the 50's.
After centre mounting the custom Speedo and removing the mudguards (fenders) we realized we would have to reshape the front and rear aprons, the main
priority was to get the front "right" first and if time allowed us we would do the rear (as you can see we ran out of time)
After sorting out the front we turned our attention to the headlights, front indicators, rear indicators and rear stop/tail lights. We used chrome
bucket headlights and bullet style indicators, the same indicators are on the rear and a modified set are used as stop/tail lights.
Painted steel wheels are used and white wall tyres as used on the cool56 achieved the look we were after.
The bright red steel wheels match the 'chilli pepper red' interior well, the same 750mm skull topped gearstick sits well with modified vertical hand
brake lever in front of the custom made folding BENCH seat, the stark matt black dash features a centre mounted custom Speedo modelled off of the
infamous Jim Beam can, there are no surprises why the fuel gauge always seems full with many thanks to porn star Brianna Banks for the incredible
chest! The glove box houses the CD player which provides essential cruising tunes.
The custom 'VW666' badge on the engine lid provides the essential touch to this evil ride!
The shinny black iron crosses on each of the doors provides a "subtle" contrast to the matt black exterior.
The motor is a stock 1600cc twin port"
pics to follow.....

We were down on the beach when those photos were being taken.....cool pics, good to see them. Are there any more?
just wondering if its street legal without the guards?
its regod. i beleave they had it sorted out.
its got guards, they're just real tiny
yeh and they real close to the wheel
i wonder if one of those guards has ever fallen off or got caught being so close to the wheel ? like on long trips, say valla for examples sake.
kool car but dont get me wrong:bounce
Faaaark - I only just remembered Jeff has moved to Qld so there's a slight geographical alteration to the above ad
Yep there's a heap more pics however the shoot is due for publishing so I probably can't release all of them
it was driven to valla from campbelltown
now stop the snivelling and buy it
Does it come with the guards to finish it off??
