What town ? There is a fella here in Gloucester with a warehouse full of old VWs.

i have been there,its just out of pit town on the way to wisemans ferry,,,heaps of cars ,split bugs,ovals,all types,,,
he is selling for brookvalle spares as far as i know,,take a large wallet of hard earned cash..well worth a look..

MR930 I was referring to Wisemans ferry in Sydney. Please tell me more about this warehouse in Gloucester, any late 57 to '61 Beetles there??

you won't pick any beetle up for under $1,500.

He will first give you a price and then 2 or 3 days latter when he calls you back to confirm the price from the owner, he ups the anti big time.
I was willing to buy 3 cars from him at the price he first gave me, which would have cost me 6k,.
If i bought all the cars at the price he came back to me with a few days latter i would've paid 11k.

If you go and have a look at these cars, take a bright torch too to check the car out properly, it is pritty dark in there.

Ohh and don't think cause the worse the car looks the cheaper it will be think again.
They had a 55 oval totaly stoved in at the front, never to be driven again, sold with no engine. They wanted $3,000.
that was because it had a good dash and good roof sections.

Ask Vic What cars he owns, he will give you a better price on his own cars.

Still in any case this is a magical place to go and have a look around.
