baja bus swap for early beetle

hi all
this post was lost in the crash so just returning it
baja bus swap for beetle in good cond the older the beter up to 65
the bus has a 4" lift new 11.5 r perrelie tyres ,dvd player,spare recoed 1800 motor and box cv 2cv
recaro seats, monster roof rack,new unleaded heads,canvas sunroof etc the only real rust is in the front doors but will throw in new doors.

its hard to say how much its worth to me or how much someone would pay for it
last year when it wasnt for sale i was offerd 8k by a stranger who didnt know anything about vdubs but just liked my bus
but i would say about 5.5 to 6K at a guess
i have had the old girl for nearly 9 years as my daily driver now that i have my split i want a classic beetle to cruz in for my daily and the split for the weekends

thinking of taking buggy brad up on his offer for a 62 bug lowered with new brms but ill give it to the weekend to see what else comes up

Hey just to clarify that value was working on what you could sell it for on the open market not what it is worth, there is a difference.

As for people saying its more, lets see the colour of their money ... I have put mine up so it's only fair ;) I would say market dictates something is only worth what you can sell it for.

Have a look at Puzzles ( Baja Bus on here for sale ) it has over $30 000 spent on it and he is after like $10 000, full bare metal rebuild, dvd, reco 2L with dellorto's, reco box, new brakes, new tyres, mag wheels, full retrim etc etc ...

Anyway just thought I would clarify what was actually said and it wasn't a case of me putting a price on something in an attempt to buy it.

you are right brad the people that say its worth more dont actually wat to buy it. i wasnt having a go at your estimate
i personly dont think it is worth more than 5.5>6 k and didnt put up the post to sell it just to swap it for a bug of close to or equal value like the one that you have offered but not 3>4k
