I have a 1976 leyland mini with the 1100cc engine, it has a single 1.5 su, full exhaust with extractors ( not fitted yet ), 10 inch polished csa jelly
bean wheels with falkens, aqua with a white roof and brown interior, just got the dizzy rebuilt, has a jvc head unit, tweeters in the front, 4 inch
speakers under the back seat, 6x9's in the rear shelf, it has just been serviced, has a few gauges in the custom dash ( water, oil, volts, ) which 2
still need to be hooked up. now the only things i have found wrong with this car is the fuel gauge and speedo ceased working a few months back,
drivers door mirror needs fixing and a good brake system bleed, tiny amount of rust inside boot area, it also has a new battery, and the carb needs s
good tune,
Car drives great, always starts first go,

Shame its a Mini.....
You could probably sell it in the UK....
They still made Minis up into the 90's in the UK...
but they never ever had Wind Up Windows....
a Mini fanatic in the UK I used to talk to always wanted a Mini with Wind Up windows.....
Maybe We could ship a heap of wind up window doors over there....

I can pick a UK mini a mile away as they had a different grill to aussie minis.... and I'm NOT a mini person....
Looks in good condition.....
Best of luck...

lol, Cheers mate
Looks good mate..you're not in Hughesdale by any chance..if so I've seen this buzzing around.
BTW later UK minis had wind up windows but the aussies were the first to have them. None of the UK external hinged mini doors (from pre-69 minis I
think) had wind-up windows, and alot of UK folk want to buy aussie windup window doors to put onto there cars. They are a dime-a-dozen over here but
rare over there.
How do I know this?..because I've owned about 10 or so minis over my short lifespan.
Cheers,
Steve
