not mine but its on ebay at: http://cgi.ebay.com.au/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?Viewitem&item=4541891492&rd=1...
looks like an ok project?????
doesn't look too bad.
I only count 19 windows though.
this probably makes it rarer than a 21 ( which are rarer than 23's)
just noticed that as well?????could this be a roof choping experiment????and are 21 window splittys rarer than 23 windows???i thought it was the other way around????
That has had a roof put on it, they never came from the factory like that.
yes, production figures are higher for 23 windows than for 21 windows.
Production figures are also higher for Hebmullers than for Country Buggies too.
I'm sure back in the day you could Special Order any configuration you wanted. VW was very accomodating to special requests.
I have my doubts as to whether it is factory or not.
perfect time for a comparison
compare this ebay baby

[Edited on 21-4-2005 by lost]
Its mexican.
it must be RHD, cos the cargo doors are on the left
personally i think it looks original.....and as mentionedd above you could mix and match your vw back in the days to your liking.
Doesn't "Fg.nr: 2250......" mean that it was a 9 seater standard microbus made in 1965? (Despite the "15 Dez.1964" above it. Also says he's got a folding bed/seat).
worldlingo.... fun read :duh..
* Erstzul. 15 Dez.1964
* Engine according to letter 1483 ccm 32 KW
* FG.NR: 2250......

We do not know whether these T1 bus in Woodstock thereby were
however somehow mediate it exactly this impression with its large
faltschiebedach, the panoramascheiben, the curtains inside and the sleep folding bank on the loading area. Since approx.. 5 years move we now the
restoration over of this bus before us and
want with this auction our dream to terminate. Of the condition of the T1 each Bieter should convince itself locally
as well known to go the opinions here far apart.
The nut runner communities around the T1 are approximately uniformly
the opinion that the lower 30 cm of each T1 to be made anyway complete
must -- that is also with ours the case. We go being completely and revised however of it from the one over 40
years old car totally from top to bottom must.
Naturally it few points a those gives to also mention well received is
z.B. the folded slab roof it is completely correct whether purchase or
manipulation or the seat sleep bank be only arranged must. The Sambaleisten is nearly complete (the Schwellerleisten is missing). Still there the
small Gitterchen in the rear window is. The panoramascheiben including seals are kept good.
There is not missing original seats. The engine runs (with that 5 years old gasoline not so beautifully) so
that to rank the car and shipped can be driven. The lacquer is all around bad and no longer originals.
Thus in briefly form: The T1 bus confessed at least 7 years, COMPLETE must be restored and should in any case before a requirement
be visited.
In the good end of the description still the boring: This auction is private with guarantee exclusion and without
ruecktrittsrecht! as well as without Nachverhandlungen! We separate not gladly from this bus and want to bring it briskly
therefore behind us. The bus should be fetched after arrangement 7 days after auction end. Each Spassbieter is pursued and asked to the cash.
