Name: Tim - Tel. 0409 603 549
Location: Paddington (Brisbane)

Very reluctant sale of my VW 1974 Beetle as i am moving o/s due to work commitments. Have owned the car for 9 years since i learnt to drive in her. Over the past 18months have been restoring the condition of the car. Latest details include:

Complete restoration of 1500 engine (Oct 05)
Reconditioning of carburettor (March 05)
New battery, front windscreen and rubbers, light fittings (front and rear), 4 tyres, mirrors, window regulators, upgrade of electronics, as well as other misc buttons, knobs, switches etc
Excellent 'Rockford Fosgate' CD player including JBL slit speakers in front and 6x9's in the back
Tinted windows
Classic chrome kit

Only thing i have left to update is the paint. Its starting to fade and has various small chips and scratches. Bubbling in the paint (small rust spots) in the usual areas near rear windscreen and in gutters above doors. Roof liner is also discoloured and has a small tear but have a new liner already prepared to slot in..just don't have time to get to it.

Sale is fairly urgent as i have to fly out in 4 weeks...
Price: $2700 ono

Photo below..more to come tomorrow:

Your car looks identical to my first beetle, and brings back many happy memories!
Unfortunately the friend I sold mine to smashed it into a telegraph pole.

All the best with selling yours.
