- 1957 body, 70s floorpan (12v).
- The body was painted inside and out about 12 years ago by Vintage VeeDub. Inside, the paint is immaculate. Outside, it needs painting. There are
some repairs to the body that were done 10 years ago but not painted. These are evident from the photos.
- There is some surface rust appearing in places. I have photographed these. There is no rust in the base of the door pillars (I think that's what
they're called) or the heater channel.
- There is a 'dimple' on the rear guard. I have circled it with a white pencil and photographed it.
- The bonnet has a slight bump. It can only be seen in a good light. I have tried to photograph this, too.
- The motor (1600cc) was built by Richard Holzl. It's not a go-fast one, but it still starts first time every time, so he must have done something
right.
- The door trims and seat covers have been in a box for 8 years. The brand is TMI.
- The hood lining has also been stored for 8 years. It wasn't stored as well. There are some fade patches on it which could be cold dyed.
- The rear tyres don't have much tread. The front ones are okay, but they would be 15 years old.
- The semaphores both come out, but one doesn't light up. I have a spare one.
- The car drives well, but has been unregistered for 10 years.
- I've got the original sales docket and owners manual (we're the second owner) but as the car has been changed this is probably irrelevant.
So, the outside needs some minor rust work and a paint. There is new trim for the interior. Everything works and it drives well.

Scott has been very honest with these photos having seen this car I can say that he has shown not only the worst of it but just about all .
Its on a 1300 Bj Discbrake swing axle pan which also has no rust. The donk starts and runs very smooth. With a little work and a blue slip this will
make some dubber very happy.

Thanks for posting those pictures, phatrat.
And thanks for the validation Mitchell.
Those wires hanging down under the dash were for a radio.
I'm in Queensland for 3 days on business, but still contactable. Back in Sydney on Wednesday night.

This should have sold by now!
It hasn't. No interest at all.
Last weekend was the first time I've washed a car in 10 years, and I didn't enjoy it. I hope it sells soon, otherwise I'm going to have to wash it
again.

i take it that's a yes then?????
Cheers. I'll give him a buzz.
Yep, it's still here. There is someone interested - they've driven it and they're coming back Sunday morning to do a compression test. No money has changed hands yet.
My prospective buyer just changed his mind. I think common sense got the better of him. He wants a car he can drive everyday while he slowly restores
it. And he doesn't have a garage. So I'd say he needs a car with rego and better exterior paint than mine. Pity, he was a local and it would have
been interesting to see the project unfold.
Looks like I'll be heading to Trading Post shortly.
giddy-up
It's still available. I haven't got around to Trading Post and I don't how to sell on e-bay. Obviously I'm not in a hurry. Might have to go back in the shed.
Pics aren't loading for me, what's the album on photobucket called?
