I bought this in Jan 05 and played around with it during Feb and March.. This is what I have done
Cleaned out and tidied floor pan and inside
Replaced front seats with hi backs
New inertia reel belts front and new lash belts rear
New Rubber mats throughout
New accessories like wing mirrors and visors
Repaired both doors
Never got to the engine but it is a 1600 with single weber
Great, clean floor pan, king and link pin.. I have an adjustable front beam to throw in..
Great chrome over the whole car.. comes with a second set of bumpers and rims with 95% tread (was going to switch with the current rims)
The headlining is missing..
To me this seems a good stock 67 bug.. If I had more time this was to be my son's first car.. Unfortunately I have too many (dual cab) projects.. So
it has to go..
Asking $3000

What is the black bug in the background of the first picture with the O4 on the door?
Not sure.. I think it is a <psychobuggers> plaything.. Ask him..

No.. Sydney.. But the 1st foto was in QLD
Selling with this beetle is a 66 (complete except for guards) also.. Spare comes with a stack of parts including nice wide rims with near news rubber and excellent chrome..
Not that you need the chrome as this bug already has all it needs..
