FS 1972 Deluxe Micro
crewcabconnection - June 5th, 2005 at 05:20 PM

For Sale - 72 Deluxe Microbus. - Penrith Area, NSW.

A real original microbus with all 9 seats. 2.0ltr motor and gearbox. This is very original bus, in great shape, with original factory paint inside and out. If you're looking for a solid, early bay that hasn't had the welders in ... this might be for you!

It's got NSW rego 'till mid April 06, and was blue-slipped from Indian Automotive who did the mechanicals when I registered it.

St. Mary's Car Audio Excellence added $800 worth of 4x70 watts of Kenwood speakers and re-trimmed the interior from front to back. Head unit is a new 'Ministry of Sound' CD/Radio Player with MP3 - it closes up automatically, retracts all dials and buttons, and looks like a stockish block off plate - (steath to stop thieves).

-----------------------------------------------------------
Also has RTA approved (Littles) Child rear bar for seats and capsules - which I got professionally fitted at a cost of almost $400.00, so kids can sit in the back safely.

Rear and centre seat belts for all seats.
-----------------------------------------------------------

Comes with a NOS factory headliner (which is the only thing that could do with replacing - had quotes for $300.00 for pro-fitting at trimmers.

U2U if you're interested, asking $4750.00. Has agreed value with Shannons for $6000.00.

Totally camoflaged, can be hidden from wife for many months Then one day she falls over it, and.....well you know how it goes....you try to please 'em....looks just like a Crysler Voyager to me -- go figure --

Sick of the hassle, it's gotta go......

And if you want to ship it to the UK, then it's gonna cost about GBP2000 landed - you can arrange your own shipping - a few people have asked already.

Thanks

Hey Man - if this is a '72, shouldn't it have the smaller curved air intake scoops and lights?

HotRodMatt - June 6th, 2005 at 09:27 AM

It's a '72 alright. The change over model. Early bay front with late bay engine bay and rear styling.

All the '72s are like that.

Good price for a solid bus.

crewcabconnection - June 24th, 2005 at 03:53 PM

bumperty pump for da weekend - well it's fer sale for the next couple of weeks, when something else arrives and I'll just keep it as it's a sweet micro.

Personal reasons provided a window of opportunity for it's sale only for about 6 weeks. After that it will stay. It's not a firesale, nor a give away. It is however a great price for a great original 72.

If I was too look again, then I wouldn't do better for anywhere near this price....
