Am I wrong?

VWCOOL - July 9th, 2005 at 08:26 PM

I thought 67s were steel?

Regardless, I'd take a look if u weren't 1500km away

I think that Aussie built Beetles up to 67 had rag tops. They were still making the small window beetle for about 2 years after the rest of the world had a newer model (bigger windows from 65, steel slider sun roofs from 63/64) .
If it is a Aussie 67 with factory fitted rag it makes it quite unique I reckon. Bit of Aussie VW history. Be a shame to chop it up.

I think deluxes had the steel roof overseas, but standards still had the rag roof till '67.
