It is with much regret that I am advertising my 76 Cab for sale that I've had for the past 3 years. Due to another bub on the way, there is just too
much capital tied up in it at the moment.
The Beetle is a 10 year old restoration, so has some daily wear and tear signs with a couple of nicks on the door edges and fenders. There is only one
spot of rust and that is at the base of the right wiper - this may be fixed shortly depending on funds.
Other than that the car is straight with all channels clean. The car is regularly maintained by Andrew Dodd, and for those who know of his work will
know that he's good.
Brakes were done last year, as was a replacement rack and pinion.
The car is a American import, running a 1600 FI motor with air conditioning and all polution gear. The heaters work very nicely too.
A new hood was put on about 7 years ago, and is clean and leak free.
The car has been lowered front and rear and is running 135/165's on original Empi Sprintstars. The Sprintstars have been sandblasted and powdercoated
- and it is a full set of 5. A replacement set of standard height struts will also come with the car.
There is also a 7 month old detachable CD player and speakers.
The car will come with 12 months NSW registration.
Please U2U or email me if you're interested at taylorpaul66@hotmail.com
Contact:- Paul Taylor
Location:- Gosford NSW
Price:- $17000 ono
Car is insured with Shannons for $19,000

oh nice indeed..
good luck with the sale!
OH YOU BASTARD... me no $...
Say it aint so Squiz !
Itd break my heart to lose a beetle that nice.....
Best of luck with the sale, hopefully it will end up with someone who visits the forum.
BTW, from your description and price this is a pretty competitive buy for a late model cabrio, esp. considering it has air con too.
CONGRATULATIONS !!!!! (on the impending arrival, not selling your car! That's awesome news!!)
Shame that Rod wouldn't let me buy it. Wouldn't it be grand to have a classic cabrio and a new one ??????

Still for sale....

ah banana splits - oh it's the cab - patience Squ12y the right buyer will come
I so badly want that cab. Can I layby it for 30 years? I could give you Rod in place of it ? I am sure that he would be good at changing nappies and getting up for 2am feeds (although I have to add, he makes little babies cry. He makes my goddaughter cry all the time ......)
I hope someone from Here takes up the purchase of this beautiful Karmann 1303S Cabrio.....
If only I had won lotto.... but I didn't....
Best of Luck with the sale....
Lee
i thought this would of sold by now.. still best of luck man..
Don't think I'll sell it on here as most people like to do their own projects. If you know anyone though, pass this on.

what kind of engine? and what is the price now?
not to be rude, but could you put the original vw rims and hubs back on with out much drama?
