sounds fast. any quarter mile times???

blkovl - November 16th, 2005 at 05:46 PM

no quarter mile times but leaves wrx's, skyline gt-r's turbo xr6's and the like behind.

vwkid - November 17th, 2005 at 07:16 AM

do you take IOU's ? or does someone wanna give me a lone ? just the thought of making ricers cry forfeits any common sense towards money... oh...

blkovl - November 20th, 2005 at 07:36 PM

Sorry, Cash up front, i'm sure someone on here would give you a loan!

helbus - November 20th, 2005 at 08:33 PM

I can just see the ricers faces when they haven't even had time to get their foot to the floor and you have already changed gears three times and are less than a spec in the distance. Just listening to them trying to explain to their mates why it happened. LOL

"Oh but it wasn't fair I couldn't see my shift light properly"

blkovl - November 26th, 2005 at 09:40 PM

if you want something bad enough, nothing can stand in your way

.

blkovl - December 1st, 2005 at 07:59 PM

Hey, its only money, we are not born with it and we cant take it with us when we die, just bite the bullet and take home a beautiful beast!

DIY-DUB - December 1st, 2005 at 08:23 PM

does that mean we can have it for free? since you dont seem to like money?

seagull - December 2nd, 2005 at 12:39 AM

I am not being a smart ass , but why would this be faster than a Subaru turbo bug or a wrx .I just find this hard to grasp looking at this post . seagull

blkovl - December 2nd, 2005 at 05:16 AM

Think about it for a second.....same power output as a wrx but less than half the weightt!!! worked it out yet?
Why put a wrx motor in your bug when you can leave the bastards behind in a vw powered bug?
Why take the soft option and install something different when you can have power and reliability in a vw motor?
IF ITS NOT POWERED BY VW YOU CANT CALL IT A VW!!!!!

And yes you can have the car for free after you buy the keys!!

vwkid - December 2nd, 2005 at 08:36 AM

how much do you want for the keys? maybe i can buy parts of the car over a period of time?

DIY-DUB - December 2nd, 2005 at 08:48 AM

vwkid buys the keys, ill buy the rest for free:smilegrin:

helbus - December 2nd, 2005 at 10:28 AM

I asked my wife if she wanted it as a replacement for her dead beetle, but she is a bit scared. Would be funny though. Ricer boys blown away not just by a VW, but a girl. LOL. She reckons she would end up being a street racer, she has no self control.

Some larger pics would be good, even if you put them on photobucket and link them or something.

Harryman - December 2nd, 2005 at 11:22 AM

That is a very very nice car mate if I could convert the bosses mind (I have tried) I would buy it what a great job thats a real credit to you mate. Ps I love the reply about the purchase of the keys! Good Luck with the sale!

would be a great replacement for the wifes car, my wife drove this car as a daily driver for about 8 months, blew off a couple of unsuspecting wrx's, and the look on their faces as they eventually pull up along side(when you've reached the speed limit), they look across at the bug that just beat them and you can see the point their heart breaks as they realise "oh sh11t its a chic too"!!!

The car can be driven very sedately. its not a pig to drive. first trip to nambucca i used $2 more fuel than a mate in a 1200. Of course if you get stuck into it it sucks down the juice.
