59 Beetle orig 78,000 miles withdrawn from sale.

1 owner from new till Jan 04 when I found her.

Since then:-
Orig 36hp fully rebuilt (Feb 04) with NOS parts.
All orig books and manuals.
Re-upholstered front seats in leather.
New German Square weave carpets with red leather binding.
Restored 1956 Porsche 356 wheels with 50's ribbed beauty rings.
Adjustable beam.
Restored Aussie Flash.
Restored and triple chromed bumpers and over riders.
Orig restored steering wheel.
50's Aussie solid visor.
58 AWA Cruiser 6 radio. (not connected)
New tinted windscreen.
Semaphores
50's Foglight

Rob, it's a funny thing you know. There is no way in the world I would have dreamt the day would come when I would even consider selling this car, but this morning one of my nutter mates says to me, "I see you're next car is for sale."
So I check it out and, you know what it's like, the first thing you do is think "ok what do I have to do to get that thing"?
So I think... I'd have to sell the beetle......nah, the Camper...definately not!
Ok ya can't have it.
So it comes down to the 'ol, "if it's meant to be..."

Very perceptive of you karmen. First registered 31/12/59. Don't get later than that. It's a 60 spec car with 59 build and reg.
