Just thought id put this here in case anyone was interested. Im Selling up my chev stuff to build a beetle for the drags, will consider any beetle as part swap for engine. Looking for $8500 for motor and will consider swaps up to about $3500 in value + cash. Must be registered and rust free, no supers and prefer earlier models but will consider 1500's etc. IRS or Swing. Basically something i can put running gear into and go racing at st meets etc. Standard cars OK. Just want something that doesnt need full rebuild.

Motor is 383 sbc, forged crank, h beams, alloy heads all the good stuff. Should make approx 500hp, can be used for st or race. Owes about $12000 all new, never even started.
