I've had this baby for the last couple of years and have been working on it as a driving, ongoing project. It's got a roadworthy cert (safety cert)
and has been looked after mechanically by Jack and Dave at Gold Coast Veedub. Drives great and can get up to about 70mph (110kmh) downhill on the
freeway but purrs at 55-60 (90-100kmh).
Rust wise, it's pretty good considering it hasn't had the full treatment. A couple of spots will need attention sooner rather than later but nothing
major structurally and nothing that bothered getting it roadworthied.
Paint is cream on top and a greeny-blue on bottom and was done by the previous owner. You'd probably call it a good backyard job. It looks sick from
a distance and the colour is unique. It turns plenty of heads and would look unreal with a bit of body work and new paint.
It has a straight axle set up on the back by CBB ( http://www.cbbvw.com ) and is lowered
at the front by one of their adjustable beams. The box was said to be 'good secondhand' and has been up until this week… Jack said he thought
there might have been a noise coming from the rear left-hand axle. It still drives smoothly so I hope this will not cause a problem. He said if turned
out to be what he thought it was it would cost around $500 to fix.
The engine is sweet, I haven't done a thing to it since I got it and it has never skipped a beat. Starts everytime. Regularly serviced.
It's got a new exhaust, recent clutch, drum brakes fully redone a year ago, all new tyres. Will look through the receipts to check if there's
anything else worth mentioning.

how low will you go on the offer mark do you think? i have a spare bit of money lying around, but not 10 grand!
Price and being negotibale seems reasonable for a split
Hey Pimpn, I want $9900 for it. How close can you get to that?
Considering an offer of $8500. Any offers above that?
