geodon - September 4th, 2005 at 09:20 AM

The end of an era for me! Due to relocating to a Melb CBD appartment in 2006, I have to start clearing the sheds!( Coincidentally, it's almost exactly the 40th anniversary of getting my 1st car- a 56 beetle in Manly Tan- I might dig out a photo for nostalgia.)

OK They are near Geelong & 1 is drivable, 3 are rolling & 1 is dismantled.
'65 bus #22126406 $750. Hit fr & back no seats & the roughest of the bunch. I bought it to prov parts for the next one.
'67 Kombi. SOLD TO DOZZA #237070201 Mostly comp: no mtr, lovely front but has been cut in the rear cargo section & has rust in the rain channel-I can prov an OK SC turret clip with this one: $1,000.
'64 non pop-top Camper #211166008 SOLD TO SILVERSURFER This one drives & is in VG mech cond. $1500.
'58 windowless van UNCUT ie no KMart side window put in! . (No plate) body no. KADV 3216. My Fav! You'll have to replace the bottom 6-8 inches but, hey, how many of these do u c these days? Lovely str8 sides. Has been hit in the fr but I will donate a better(not good!) fr clip with this one coz I want 2 c it restored! Missing impt bits like lights s/wheel semos rear bumper but worth $1000 I think.
'63 SC. #26928754. SOLD TO MARZ Dismantled & on a rotating jig. I have 2 jigs but I've offered them to a mate in the trade & if he doesn't take them thay are also for sale.BOTH JIGS NOW SOLD. The SC needs the usual stuff but the top cargo floor is good. Mostly comp but no rear bumper or mtr.Comes with 2 spare long gates & a spare t/chest door. $1500

9/9/2005

OK THERE ARE 2 LEFT & I WILL DO A BUY 1 GET 1 FREE!

BUY THE '58 & GET THE '65 FREE!
.
The latter aint much but it will supply what u need to make the former something good viz a 1500 eng, a big nut trans & a bigger fr end with the decent brakes. Plus u can use the bottom of the cargo doors etc.

THAT HAS TO BE GOOD VALUE!!

still interested in the Panel Van.....need to get it to Sydney>?????

pyr0 - September 10th, 2005 at 08:22 PM

i found tnt to be the best transporters ;)

geodon - September 10th, 2005 at 08:31 PM

One (the '67) went to Noosa. Because it wasn't mobile & had to be winched onto the truck the cost was $700!!! ( Dozza, I think the purchase price was too cheap!). Try TNT. I have no objection to taking them to their depot provided ur not in a hurry. I travel from Geelong to Moorabbin once a fortnight & have no objection to dropping off at their depot which I think is in Brooklyn. I am taking the '64 there Friday 23rd Sep for SilverSurfer.

crewcabconnection - September 10th, 2005 at 09:13 PM

tnt are shut! - lol, i'd have thought they we're 24/7.....will try on Monday. Only want the panel. Anyone wanna go halvsies?

Dozza - September 11th, 2005 at 01:39 PM

Hey George,

The 67 arrives tomorrow..... Christmas is coming early

I am going to put it on ebay tomorrow for $5000:P

Only kidding, she will be sweet when she is restored and I am cruising about in her

Thanks for everything......
