Gday guys well I am afraid to say but the convertable project must go. I am selling this on behalf of a friend, It is a 1971 convertable beetle and
has a good 1600 twin port motor. The person we bought the vehicle of didn't have the engineers certificate as he had lost it. However we have
sorted things out with VICROADS and it is no problem as it was registered as a convertable. The have promised us they will register the vehicle and
have all the details. We have recently replaced the brake line and have decided that at this stage we don't have the time to do it up. So it is for
sale, it comes with two brand new 165r15 tyres not fitted. It has a little rust in a few places but it is minor and with a bit of love it would come
up a treat. The car is pritty much as we bought it with the idea of restoring it but we have cut and polished it. I dont envisage a great deal of
money would need to be spent on restoring the car but we don't have the time. He is asking $1700 ono but he is negotable, I have posted pics below
u2u Harryman if you have any questions and we are on the mornington peninsula. All the best gentleman and thanks for reading... Ben Dickens
I have had queries about registeration, thus the car is registered as a convertable tourer and we have correspondance to pass onto the purchaser of
the vehicle. Vicroads have the info required to reigster the vehicle so re - registration is not a problem. If you have any queries don't hesitate
in contacting me via u2u. All the best Ben Dickens.:vader
