Must have no rust.
prefer mechanically sound bus.
prefer Manual but will still seriously consider auto.
looking to spend maximum of 10 grand, whether that is 5 for the bus, and 5 on the restoration, or 10 on an already half to full restored bus is to be decided.
Anyone know of any hidden gems out there??!
Must be located in NSW so i can view before purchase.
Thanks guys for the help!

Look at this. Looks a real treat at more than fair price.

She isn't for sale but the best advice I got as a new dubber was be patient. There are good ones out there...
10k should buy you something very special indeed...good luck.

haha i have been a member since may and still nothing. i am seeing a lot of great buses out there, none of which for sale in my area or not exactly what i am looking for.
frustrating!! but thanks for the advice!
do you think you could tell me how much you bought your bus for? she looks a beaut!

in south australia? sorry mate, i would definately want to sit in the thing before purchase!
all the good buses seem to be outer state when you have the money
and next door when you are skint!!!

sounds like you need to be looking on the notice board at your local milk bar; not the WORLD WIDE WEB

pimpnkombi - October 10th, 2005 at 11:18 PM

haha, yeah i have covered all bases.
but the advantage of buying on here is i am less likely to find a rust bucket for 10 grand!
plus i can still search over nsw here. i am willing to travel further than down the road!

Considerably less than $10k...try $7,000 - $8.000...with immaculate interior.
