I am unfortunately going to sell my '69 white 1500 beetle.
I have owned for 4 years and travelled only 800 miles in it.
I'm selling it because I don't drive it enough to justify the cost and real estate it takes up. Our family has 6 cars and a boat so the room would
be handy. Its currently on club rego till April next year. Heres some info.

1500 Engine with Thunderbird Extractors
Reconditioned disc brake front end with select-a-drop.
Standard widened rear rims, standard rims front fitted with dress rims and new tyres.
Fitted with “Cal” style “T” Nurf bars (original bumpers come with car)
Quick change decklid standoffs.
AM/FM stereo and speakers but have genuine VW am radio.
Scat style “T” shifter (not genuine scat).
Repainted shortly before my purchase in two pack.
Interior carpet replaced prior to my purchase.
Currently registered on Club Rego with original black and white plates.
Comes with
Two front doors.
Rear deck lid.
Spare front end (originally fitted)
Spare rear side windows.
Spare gauges, indicators and numerous engine parts and tinware.
Steering column
Original gear shift if you don’t like the “T” shifter.
Original owners manual in glove box.
This car has been modified to suit my needs, however, no holes have been cut or drilled. It would take a weekend to put it back the way it rolled off
the production line and all original parts come with the car. Eg the spare front end was originally fitted as were the bumpers and radio. I believe
the number plate to be the original fitted and have traced it back as far as transport dept records go.
Car is virtually rust free except for a hole under the battery and a tiny bit bottom of the drivers door.
I'm asking $5200 as you see it in the photo's except for the guages which are in the notch.

Hey Andrew, love your bug. I am wanting to get a hold of those T bars you have instead of bumpers and am trying to find out if they are legal in qld
as someone told me they arn't? Can you help?
Thanks,
Jo
I made those ones and had them chromed...you can buy them pretty much anywhere I know Leon has them.
They may be illegal....but only if you get caught.
hehe very true, I think I will take the risk as they look awesome

This is a really nice
car, is it sold yet?
Not yet...you won't see it cause it's tucked away safe and sound in the garage
