ok, one of my mates is thinking about selling his T3 as he is going overseas at the end of the year. according to the rego it is a 1968 model, the
car is complete and original, dark tan in colour, has a little rust at the bottom of the pilliars front and rear, maybe a little in the front arches
and across the bootlid, but overall very straight and rust free for its age, with only one noticable dint in the passenger door all the original 1600
chrome trim is there including the rear and front badges, lower and waistline strips, although the strips are well battered, the interior i have not
had a good look at, the doortrims look good, the headlining is stuffed and all the seats and dash are covered so i cant tell their condition at the
moment. it runs and drives, although there are no taillights at the moment (havent yet even tried to fix, probably just a loose earth) the brakes
need some work (the owner says it pulls to one side) and he also recons that it is more sluggish then the 60's beetle he drove.
overall i recon its a great project car, i would take it home if it was in Vic rather then Qld, the owner is looking for around $1000 , which seems
pretty reasonable to me. if you are interested you can contact me (Ryan) on 0432 889 159 and i will get you in contact with hthe owner.
