hi there to all i now really have to sell my bug due to recent job and postal changes i now have time what so ever for this car
most of you would know but for those that dont it is a 74 super bug
it has fully adjustable front shocks from vee force
brand new microtech computer and hand controller
ignition module from ems
ej20t motor
custome brass button clutch
single side plate box
two fuel pumps, surge tank and radiator in front
custom fire wall
wrx intercooler in custom box with two thermos
scat quick shift shifter
bucket seats
porsche cookie cutters
everything is in the car and mounted except the fuel pumps they are in position just not mounted motor is wired up and will start as soon as ignition module is wired in (boof2332) has said he will wire it for me then car will start
all that is needed is exhaust which boof has offered to do as well i have the muffler just need the pipe work
will need rear disk brakes and a few holes drilled in the front appron for air flow to the radiator the front also has an air dam to help scoop air
intercooler needs to be conected to the engine a few silicone hoses
as i have said i have absolutly no time or space for this car due to new job commitments and living arrangements so this car must sell genuine enquires only

last one for now...this is a genuine sale at a bargain price,his loss is your gain,there is a couple of people on the forum who have seen the car and the work that has gone into it........there is a huge thread in non vw powered about the cost of the conversion,so if you want some info have a read what it costs in parts alone,and you will see how much is on offer for free....................

Thanks for the positive input...its a pitty it will be much more reliable, quicker, smoother, easier to drive and probably use less petrol. When you get a chance we will help you improve your car also.

Chris, where is your exhaust???? I can fab it up quickly if you drop it off...when do you want to do the module?

p.s. If I have 2 young children and a wife that dislikes me working on the car and I can get stuff done......then you have no excuse for not getting the radiator plumbing finished.

so, how much would i need to spend to get this car on the road ? and who can do it for me ?

I will be doing an exhaust for him and wiring in the ignition module. All it needs then is water plumbing and it will drive. For engineering you will need rear discs and a catalytic converter. It does not have to pass emissions just have a cat visable, so you can get a second hand one or just go to an exhaust place and get one from the bin.

Thats pretty much it...... sooooo cheap! If I didnt have 2 turbo suby powered cars already, this would be at my place!

if this hasnt sold by time i save up the money..its mine .

would buy it as a daily driver until my 13bt bug is on the road.

but that might not be for a while (saving)

i would buy it if it was finished. coz i dont know alot.

seems strange no one wants a easy project,i dont think you can buy a decent 1916 for this price,i think this would be running on the road for around 2k,,,
and heaps more fun then any 1916 would ever be...
