No tdi polos available . early mk3 golf had 1.9tdi and are pretty rare . Only mk5 had significant amount of tdis

They would only be private imports . Mk5 is 2004 onwards . Whats your budget anyway ?

Hav a 1.9 Tdi engine!!! in a little POLO>>> u do the sums!! ... mk3 Golf TDI's very rare in Oz.. like couple hundred or so sold. in.95'(where new $47g's or so) very good car capable ov 12.1300km's on a tank of Diesel...second hand around $10,000.. look ull find but very hard to convince owners to let go.. the ones that hav have upgraded to New TDi's Mk5 cheers G..

Budget would largely depend on the car. Have maybe a low 20's limit for a car, just not sure what I am looking for. A new lancer which is advertised as having 25% more power looked promising until I saw it has an extra 35% weight, so will keep my older one.
