here is a link to one i spotted
http://cgi.ebay.com.au/VW-SPILT-WINDOW-KOMBI-VOLKSWAGEN_W0QQitemZ7188361604QQ...
looks like the reserve has been met
i dont get it , it looks to be a ok bus ,can see rot in the sills, this bus needs plenty of attention all over and its up to $3100 with 27 bids , my
point is there are a few buses for sale at the moment for 10k or less like byronbuses ute and 11 window regod or rego ready that dont need much more
work to paint them if you wanted to then for alittle more there is 66 kombis bus with a full resto, or the other blue bus that was for sale for about
8k alittle while ago lowerd with rego. seems for alittle more money you can save yourself massive headaches and time not to mention cash.
people talk up how much buses are worth and then we see the owners of good buses unable to sell them and resorting to advertising on the samba trying
to off load it overseas , i dont get it the proects get silly cash and what seem to be the good ones dont sell .
is there something about this bus that i am missing?? to me it will need at the very least 1 to 2 years and 15k
please explain
yeah, but watch darren, prolly no more bids now!
I think most who want a split don't have the readies for one already done. Maybe they think they're getting a bargain at that price and don't
realise how much work and money is involved. If I had the cash there were a few I would be snappiog up no problems. I'll just have to do more o/t
to build up the beer coupons because there's no way I be allowed a project at the going rates.
