FS: 65? single cab Ute.

G'day to all, my mate has asked me to sell his 65? single cab Ute.

It has not been on the road since 1979 and it's in need of a total restoration.

He tells me that he did drive it off his trailer and drove it half way up a hill when

a spark plug blew out but it made it up the hill on 3 cylinders! The fuel tank is rusted

along with some of the body but it is fixable (We've fixed worse) here are some pics

I could not find the body plate and the LHD will not open.

89842 mils, Engine Number: 19156580

Yep Probably! Just keep it a secret or being a cocky he'll have to "fire a warning shot over their heads" Just aim with both eyes closed!

Anyways if ya can't get through to him keep trying or you can email him on PETES EMAIL looks like it'll be a bidding war or a race to the dub first!

Thanks Byronbus, yeah , I think you are right , bullet indicators , split front seat and rolled or flared rear gaurds.

I will just be happy to get it home , will be a good match for my 61 spitty.

I don't know, we go away from home for a coupla years and you younguns keep bringing crap home to litter up the joint and frighten the kangaroos and echidnas away!!! Maybe you could knock the wall out in the Chook shed and stick it in there (Kaye says NO!!!) Long as Her Beetle is still wrapped up and in a shed.

Picked her up today !!

Usual Kombi rust problems...Sills , dog legs , nose .cargo floor. Gates are very good ( Not bowed some rust in RHS easy fix ) Tray is in good nick as too is the interior. Looks pretty solid underneath one jacking point needs replacement......

I asked Ian to post some pics of the journey home , there are some images that will be familiar to alot of you.

What have I done !!!!!!!!
