Currently has just over 25,000 ks on clock
Have service records from 1996 to 2000 and then from Jan 2004 to current
When I bought Vern in Jan 2004 he was unregistered and had a nasty dent on the drivers side bonnet and guard.
I drove him from Brisbane to Gladstone and then spent the next 3 months getting him brought back to original condition. He was pulled to bits and rust
removed undercoated and then resprayed in Inca Gold. All the work was carried out by a very competent retired Panel Beater.
Lower left hand ball Joint was replaced 17 Jan 2004
Front Tyres were replaced 17 Jan 2005
Clutch was replaced 10 Feb 2004
Steering damper was replaced 10 Feb 2004
Battery was replaced 11 March 2004
Reupholstered seats and hood lining 29 Oct 2004
Had the fuel gauge looked at and had some fuel line replaced and also replaced fuel gauge sender unit.
In early 2005 I had a 20,000 k service done and he was tuned with spark plugs,leads,points and distributor cap replaced.
Front and rear wheel bearings replaced.
Oil breather box replaced
Rear wheels aligned
Steering box adjusted and damper bush replaced
Rear brake shoes replaced
I had a Morleys upper cylinder lube reservoir installed
Inertia seat belts in front installed.
Has been professionally serviced every 3,000 ks since I have owned him.
I had a pioneer cd installed.
He is a very reliable car and would not think twice to drive him anywhere. I took him to Dubs by the Pub this year and he purred all the way there and
back. He has never let me down. Only selling as the family (wife and 3 kids) don’t fit in anymore. Would be an ideal first car. Nothing to do but
drive and enjoy :thumb
