Mazda Series 5 13b turbo rotary engine with EMS ecu, 500hp fuel pump, surge tank, 31/2" exhaust.
Fresh 2ltr kombi transaxle, 2100lb kennedy pressure plate. Adapter plate and flywheel by Unicap.
Runs standard length Kombi driveshafts and cv's via 2" wider x 2" longer rear trailing arms
Dual shocks tied into rear of rollcage and adjustable height coil springs.
Widened 15" steel rims with 31" rear tyres.
Hydraulic hand brake.
Has 1/2 rollcage tied into rear cage.
Radiator is mounted in the front behind the bumper.
Interior has VDO guages mounted in aluminium panel, aluminium door trims and saas seats (no rear seat)

Very exciting car to drive with 230rwhp @ 12lbs boost.

Said he had to arrange getting some money together and would call me back but havent heared from him in a few days.

Yeah the orange beetle was sold to an old guy for 500 bucks to use as a paddock basher on his farm in dubbo.
Such a shame to see it go to waste like that but anyway what can you do?

The front end is balljoint with standard beetle discs.
the rear is irs with standard drums & the handbrake is hydraulic.

Care to elaborate on the prob you have with QLD Transport ??

I don't think we can have a turbo 13b in the back of a bug here in QLD...
turbo factor x car weight = displacement allowable.... can't remember the numbers but its too big
I also think a non-turbo 13 B is too big displacement..
Qld transport are no fun!!

with the new national rules a NA 13b should be ok.
4 x standard weight = 840kg x 4 = 3360cc
A 13b is treated as having a capacity of 2600cc s it's way under the limit.

If its going to the NT then they have a hole different set of rules again up there.
