Due to moving house I no longer have garage space for my spare Country Buggy project. If you are not familar with a VW Country Buggy- I suggest doing
a quick Google search for more information on these rare vehicles.
This one is a project, but is a good body- in that it hasnt been cut about. It does not have the Country running gear, such as the front spindles
(though I know where some are ) etc and is sitting on a standard Beetle floorpan. I have previously restored a country buggy and bought a donor Beetle
for the electricals, seats etc.
This particular buggy is KO 558 and although not depicted in the photos it comes with the bonnet, great dash and a rare rear push bar. The front and
rear bumpers are original. It would require some fabricating of some bottom panels (as did my last one) but as the panels are flat steel, this is not
too complex. I had the windscreen folded for $40.00
Please contact me if you require any further information, I would love to keep this buggy but it does not appear that I will be able to do anything
with it for the next five years, so will offer it up for sale.
Vehicle is currently in storage in Toowoomba, though if enough interest I will bring it to Brisbane. I have heaps of photos if anyone requires
anything further.

What engine do you have? Gearbox condition?
If it comes with the beetle floorpan as pictured I'll take it.

bugger! things happen quick around here!
have been looking for a Country Buggy for a while. They always seem to come up on the west coast...
I'm happy some one did buy it. I was having trouble thinking up a good story to tell my wife as to why I need another country buggy and another project.
Probably the only morning I haven't had a hunt ! You've gotta be real fast.
