The 74 single cab that i got a few weeks back off the forum sadly has to go. The wife unfortunately has discovered that there may be more to the storey of its aquisition than meets the eye. Due also to the other projects I cannot keep it.

It is 74 2.0 litre. Just out of rego, little rough around the edges, although generally pretty straight. Motor runs well, just has a couple of oil leaks I need to fix(rocker covers etc.) Box is good.

I am in Melbourne for the Games till next Friday..I will post pics then.

any rust?

The guy before fixed most...the only visable rust left is in the tray. Along the middle seam half way back...and just behind the cabin. It has been treated and is really easy to fix.

There is some rust in the gates that has also been treated. Apart from the gates being a bit beaten up...the sides of the ute itself are really straight. I was going to put wooden ones on it(cheap,easy and look good). Was also going to relocate the indicators.

Its really fun to drive.....pretty much the exact opposite of the beetle. I drove it from the moment I picked it up till it ran out of rego without a problem.. Did about 800 k's in 2 weeks.

I could probably organise a pink slip if need be...

Sort of depends on colour and how perfect you want it. There isnt heaps of prep in the car itself, its what you wanted to do with the gates and tray as there is a bit of work in getting that to look new.
