Now that I have a new falcon, the kombi is surplus to requirements.

Basically, its un ugly vehicle. There is not 1 straight panel on it. Not one. (people generally give me room to change lanes now) It has started to develop rust along sills. It has usual rust below quarter vents. Usual rust under the roof gutters. A little bit worse than usual rust lower left windscreen. Theres rust beginning in the front footwell. There's not much paint left on the roof. The front bumper is straight, the only external good point.

Mechanically there is a clunk in the front left over bumps, the steering box is standard kombi in need of rebushed cover. The engine leaks oil and has a very soft LH head that needs replacing.

Interior wise is your standard kombi stuff. Brown vinyl, a few split seems, made my own trims and covered with corolla upholstery which Jay hates ;) Has the standard rubber floor mats in good condition. No working heaters, petrol gauge is shonky.

Rego is up in Aug but despite the average description it would be able to get re-registered. If it makes a difference I would supply pink slip for same.... Hmm I think I have to anyway????

In a nutshell its not pretty but what you do get (and why the $2200 which is about 1/2 what it owes me) is because the 2 litre engine was rebuilt 2 years ago. Apart from the head it should be in damn good nick. Both heads were reco units but obviously the core wasnt up to it. The 1800 gearbox was rebuilt by Shimo in about november 2004 and has done approx 10,000kms since (have receipt listing parts). Both engine and box have done very low kms, as its always been a second car which I rarely drive since I love my aircon lancer.
Also will supply another kombi front end out of a 78-79ish that is very solid for nuttin.

Will try to get some pics up soon.
