Its pretty fugly.'
Haha, and peoples at school used to call me Cleetus
Some history facts - it was marketed as the vw fuglybug. - cause karman & co had the day off and the janitor had a go. I love the stylish, streamline"box"on the rear lid.
looks like it has a full set of empi gauges!
could be worth $1000 :P
much better having a oval like every one else shit don't dare to be differant baaaarrrr baarrrr because there are only 25000,000 vw's left in the

was taking a look at these pics the other day, does it look to anyone else like the chassis is stretched?
chop the rear end out and glass mould in some wide baja guards then it would look alright.
looks stock wheelbase to me.
prolly looks long as most buggies you see are shortend and this one isnt.
That's not too horribly ugly. I could live with that. It would need a better engine cover and a complete roll cage and side intrusion bars to keep
the rego people and me happy.
It looks a lot like the Type 62 Beetle which was built as a prototype for the German Army. They removed the doors and sides of a stock Beetle, fitted
the spare wheel into the front bonnet, like the false spare wheel on the boot of an R series Valiant, and gave it a set of canvas doors and a weather
proof roof. It was considered to be too pretty for a war machine and it was given a two tone paint job and it was given to Hitler as a present.
