Under Buying/selling. Plenty of pictures there.
you need to put it on car point or car sales. the trading post wouldn't hurt either. people want good kombis but you have to have good exposure so
they know about it.
also, does your local VW specialist have a for sale board? put up a flyer in their shop and let your mechanic know it's for sale too. Is there clear
signage on a window of the car saying it's for sale?
I know it will sell. My next door neighbour just sold a 2l poptop for 7k, so you should get what you're asking, just advertise more. 
It sits outside my House everyday with a big for sale sign on it. I have a few young guys interesterd.

geez, $15 buck in the trading post and a little bit of patience would get you a good buyer, another $9 on carpoint and that's only $24 instead of
loosing $500 on the sale.
I have patience its I am going away at the end of month and Need to pay trip next week.
