1974 Twin cab ute,
Engine: 2ltr RS Turbo Subaru with intercooler and wolf 3D computer.
Gearbox: 2ltr kombi reconditioned with Sherman adaptor and 2ltr heavy duty clutch and starter motor.
Suspension: Sports front sway bar, coil over front gas shocks and KYB rear gas shocks.
Wheels & tyres: 15x7 steel wheels front:205 x 70 R15- Michelin Rear:225 x 75 R15- Michelin.
Custom rear bumper/tow bar and custom front bull bar with radiator. Custom collapsible canopy frame with vinyl cover.
Interior: Stratos seat with matching interior trim, tacho and gauges, built in heater/de-mister, sony CD tuner and speakers.

One owner for last 23 years. It has an amazing history over this period in its daily use as a farm/family/almost anything truck. It has even won
“Best Engineered” at Valla in 1985 when it was fitted with a Chev Corvair
6 cylinder motor which lasted until 1998.
The Subaru Power Plant was then fitted and has been amazingly
reliable and willing (with 148 kilowatts) ever since.
This engine replacement is valued at ($7,000) by mechanic now.
Most people can’t believe I am now ready to sell this Ute but I am now ready to move onto another “VW” project.

Sounds very nice . If its at all possible is there any chance of some shots and ordetails of the colapsable canopy I have been toying with the idea for my Twincab. Regards Mitchell

Having trouble getting photos through, but will keep trying.
The ute is located in Coffs Harbour, mid north coast of NSW, as avaliable for immediate sale. Rego runs until december and condition is good and has been maintained proffessionally for over 20 years, with only slight areas of minor rust. All panels are original and gates have been internally lined with timber.

I can email photos to serious enquires easily, so U2U your email address and i will reply. Just gotta work out the normal way to post them.
