Selling my beloved bus as it is now 'surplus to requirements'
Its 12/74 model, I think it was a window van when it left the factory, but is now fitted out as microbus. Mechanically there is a bit of a clunk left
front. I will provide another front end from a 78 model that is very good. The 1800 gearbox has been reco'd with receipts by Shimo from Dunhams. The
2 litre carby engine was rebuilt by myself not too long ago. Everything on this engine is sweet except for the left hand head. It was a dodgy buy.
Just too soft and needs valve adjustments all the time. It ran out of adjustment and I had to pack the left hand rocker gear up. To be 100% reliable
you would need to replace it.
Bodywise its a little rough. It has some rust in the left step, and a fair bit in bottom left windscreen, as you can see. A bit in the usual sliding
door quarter vent, plus along the bottom of this door. A few pinholes starting to appear in the sill. The rest of the body is quite bumpy where bits
of tree stump tend to come out and hit it. Rear bumper very ordinary. The roof is fairly paintless as those chain things hanging down from undercover
car parks tend to take a little paint each time.
Thought I had a buyer this morning but he was put off when it didnt start first time. It was sitting for 6 weeks! When fuel got to the carbs it
instantly kicked to life. Mechanically its been pretty well looked after, I just dont go in for that soap and chamois thing.
I've been totally honest about its condition, so I'd like some honest offers around the 2K mark. Its worth that for the gearbox. Located in
Wollongong.
I always forget to take pics in the daylight. Will have to pull my finger out. Sounds dodgy I know, but if I were dodgy I wouldnt have highlighted the
bad points! Too many people know me on here to be a slack bastard. A couple of teasers for now.

Bumpo!
Doesnt look too bad actually.... from the initial description a few months ago I pictured a scrapyard on wheels!
Of course photo's can lie their asses off, but for 2G's that bus still seems like a pretty good prospect compared to some ive seen for the same
asking price or more...
hope it sells... cos it likes like its got a bit of life left in it given a bit of time, money and love.
If it doesnt sell I'll chop the roof off as a summernats bus.
*feverishly digs around in pockets for $2000* DOH!!!
