Hello all,
Am selling my 69 Fastback which has been sitting idle for the past 3 years. It has a strong 1600tp with twin carbs and 3sp auto- yes auto.. It is 12
volt with disc brake front.
Bodywise I would describe it as good condition, the best bit is that it has never been repainted and what small rust which is there- is it- nothing
has been bogged up and painted over. The bumpers are clean and straight and pan is in great condition. the paint is on the thin side but I was always
intending to cut the rust out and paint it anyways.
Tyres are good.
Interior is good though hood lining is a little stained and has good complete carpets including boot.
Overall the vehicle is an excellent base for someone wanting a smick looking fastback- it certainly isnt a rusty one and it hasnt been stuffed around
with (yet)
I should have some photos up in the next day or so (I left my camera at work) but if it matters it is the common poo brown colour.
Price was $1200.00 but now $600.00
Vehicle is located in Brisbane
Ph 0417 070 661

I'd love to see some pics
Can't wait to see.
Brisbane a long way away but could be what I'm looking for.
Any rego?, Much to be done for rego?
i paid a lot more for mine, but still was well worth it. these cars are great to drive. smooth, quiet and easy. IRS, disk brakes and the old sporty
looking front.
69 is the pick of the type3 ....make great daily drivers...more room than beetle and a great 3rd gear for around town
Any pics. :bounce
the front..
the side, passenger door has a gouge along the bottom half and few bubbles
engine..
rear is all carpetted as is the interior.
has nice chrome..
this is the worst of the rust in the car.
Must be a late 69 or early 70 with that shape.
..

I hope this sells soon! :thumb
And I agree they're great cars, having had my '69 Fasty for a whole 16 hours now and driven it a whole 50 metres.... LOL :P
Will be pulled apart soon, but prefer to sell complete.
Can I have fist dibs at the auto & its bits needed for a conversion please
seagull
Does it have rear pop-outs? If so and you pull things off to sell, could I bags the rubber seals for both pop-outs? U2U sent anyway.
Will consider restored splitty or manx for straight swap oh and might consider other things as well :P
What would you consider trading for that baby? (To knock the price down a little).
-Staggers.
U2U me with what you are considering...
If that was here in perth it would not last long ( its a auto ) some one buy it !
Bump...
how about $500????
keriky what a bargain - but too far for me
Looks like a mighty fine fasty for a mighty fine price indeed!
from the pics it looks too good to be parted out! :bounce
Why is it people avoid fastbacks like the plague?...hmmm... :duh
Put it this way... if I lived slightly closer and had a few bucks up me sleave, this car would be looong gone!... you wouldnt accept a trade off for
my left testicle?? :duh
Ok...back in my box... :alien
bump...
