Put in some indicator lenses, a horn button on the steering wheel, small tidy up and replace some missing trim, and it will be great.

thats the oil/vacuum/h2O temp guages.

Spose in a racing situation, would be hard to be taking note of 6 guages in total and the road at the same time.

i have the missing parts for this monster...ha ha
I think these idiots with rice burners do that with the guages sometimes... well a fair bit... makes them feel tough or something.

Not sure if he interested in keeping the car. rwc wise? he been treating the rust, with bog sanding and painting over, don't think he converted it
though. the only rust left is in the hatch door, its not that nasty, but has eaten through. Thats all I know for that, the seats are good, etc. engine
has apparenlty had a rebuilt... so won't be too bad.
Will see if he needs the parts though.

One thing I noticed tho... that left hand carpet in the footwell looks either damp or like it has been quite damp for a while at some stage... Im not
familiar with the construction of Golf's, but could this possibly be an indicator of other potential rust issues floorwise?.. ie... floor being damp
= moisture seeping down through carpet to settle against the pan and rust it?
Not trying to rubbish it... just figured it worth pointing out, because wat5er was getting under the rubber mat in my kombi footwell and had rusted it
where the water remained trapped... :o
