Am selling my 60 Rat Beetle to make way for a new project, which I no doubt will regret but oh well..

The beetle had adjustable lowered front end and dropped way down at the rear. It has a 1600tp with a single Weber carbie (though this is not suited to the manifold) It is fitted with a Bosch alternator. Doesnt run too well at the moment due to the Carbie issue- but then this is largely why it is so cheap

The previous owner did a good job in cutting the rust out and the only rust is in the inner bottom of the door and a small pepair required on one of the seams. The bottom of A pillars have been replaced.

The interior is great nick with only flaw being stiching coming undone on drivers seat, but that is only minor. Hood lining is brand new cond, great carpets and empi style wheel (which I will knock $100 off the price if purchaser doesnt want it)

Also has two brand new Mitchelin tyres, which are either 135 or 145's and that aren't on the car at present. As to how close it would be to put back on the road, well that would depend on hos friendly you are with the RWC guys as I am not sure they would like the height, it also required some 12v bulbs, as I robbed those for another car.

To all those inquiring about parting out the car, hopefully it will not come to that as the car is in great condition, but will keep it in mind- though that said I am leaning towards making it into a baja at present...
