hey, im looking for an air cooled beetle. I need one that is cheap (under $1000). I dont need a good interior or paint, though i do want one that isnt rotting and with a running engine. any help in finding one would be greatly appreciated as it would be my first bug. thanks

do u have a preference on the beetle.

Some like the 'older ones' pre 69 (longer nose and butt) some like the 'supers' which are usually 70 onwards and have a shorter front and back.

Also, what size engine etc are u looking for. There are alot of variables when it comes to the beetles.

prefferably a pre 69 as the plan is for a volksrod, im not too fussy about the engine, but i want something a little more powerful than my ride on lawn mower if you know what i mean.
