Story as told to me.......

She loved the car,(known as leffy) but got bit unreliable for driving to Sydney, new Astra purchased. Was a daily driver until then. Driven til left at current location last May, when rego ran out. And wants to see it go to a good home.

my summary....

Body looks fine, would say good condition, only problem is minor rust around left rear window, it may show up on photos. Everything else just a little "tired" eg carpet, seats great, except drivers, on top of the backrest. Car seems to be mostly original.

Bought a new battery last weekend, and it turned over, almost started, been sitting too long, fired and coughed a few times, motor seems to be "tired". Not sure but guessing nechanic it saw regularly not VW minded.

Tyres all roadworthy, no rust in pan, battery box excellent, see photo, has extractors, need tightening on flange.

nice one, cant believe how many of these are about at the moment, never used to see them, then went to the last dub show and there were 3 of us with ones looking same as that (condition and colour and wagon)! looks like a good solid wagon, should be snapped up at that price, especially being an auto. good luck with the sale
