exellent salt and pepper interior, except for carpet. (brought it from the states forgot they only do LHD carpet kits and i forgot that)
bumpers are really good
3 point harnasess.
DOES NOT COME WITH BRMS. (will put stock wheels on)
wood grain steering wheel and boss.
new brake cylinders all round.
dash mat.
lowered 3 splines at the front and 2 at the back.
over $10,000 spent makeing this thing look sweet.
first show i took it too i took first place for type 3 modified.
new wind screen seals all round.
new sunvisors.
littlerust in the bottom of the doors put nothing serious.
thats the only rust in the car.

Dyno - August 6th, 2006 at 10:48 AM

What is the chassis number?

steve-89 - August 6th, 2006 at 05:06 PM

thanks for reminding me,
when i purchaced the car i spoke to the guy about the chassis,
he said that it is a later pan (65 fast back)
he had the original pan there but was pretty much screwed,

so sorry if i cant give you chassis number.
i could give you this one on the pan at the moment but obviously it would be no help.

please if you have any other questions let me know.

steve

Dyno - August 7th, 2006 at 09:23 AM

anyway, looks like the intermediate 63 model(aussie built), just before the push button switch dash was deleted( even then, these models had the cut out but pull switches mounted to the plastic plate covering the push button switch hole. you also have the aussie 63 and later ignition switch and hole in the front nose panel for post 63 washer bottle and also has the later 1964 style aussie interior and dash pad. Therefore, this car is not a 62, will have body number(if it still has the plate under the bonnet) in the 300,000's and should not be advertised as a 62.

steve-89 - August 7th, 2006 at 08:56 PM

sorry mate but there is alot of things on this car that is not "original" but will not argue as you seem to know what your on about.
what year is it do you think?
i was told it is a 62 so just assumed that it was.

thanks for the advice.

Turbo54 - August 8th, 2006 at 03:41 PM

I told you not to sell your 64 Paul, now do you understand?

Looks great Steve, I agree with resto, once its gone... Hope it goes to a good home.
Try Paul Roberts, he seems to be starting a small collection of 3's.
Fasty - square and this could be the notch to complete the 3.
