I have a 68 fastback for sale. It is located in Beechworth (north east victoria near Albury/Wodonga). The car is in good condition and has just come back from 2 weeks at with Paul at Albury VW.

Brief list of Good bits (I'm going to let the photos do the talking)
Engine - has just had a thorough going over by Albury VW guy and given 2 thumbs up. He has done lots of work on this car.
Brakes have been redone (drum all round).
Original paint (except for one panel)
Very Good interior.
Minimal rust
Brand new NOS exhaust.
Visor + accessories
Original plates + keys
All paperwork (log book, receipts, etc)
Complete, straight and original

Not so good
Ding in left front panel (fairly small)
Drill holes (from previous ariel/rear view mirror in same (above) panel
Small rip (where stitching has unpicked) drivers seat.
Right front panel has some overspay










NOTE: rear badge (above) was removed for a polish and is back on.

Hi waltermitty, is swing. IRS started in 69 on these models (I think).
