[WTB - TAS] Type 3 wanted (Tassie)
moneypenny - August 24th, 2006 at 03:47 PM

Looking to buy a Type 3 in Tassie. Preferably fastback but notch and square back are also good...

Any info would be great - these babies are hard to find!

Are you in contact with the Tassie vw club?

http://www.vwtas.org

I'll ask around for you!

Oh, and how much are you looking to spend?

Do you want something cheap that needs work or something you can just get in and drive?

Josie - I had no idea there was a Tassie VW club! We have 2 Kombi's already and looking to grow the family! Prepared to consider any options: ie: not afraid of doing a bit of work, but would be lovely to find something we could just get in and drive!

Ich fahre ein Kdf ein Tag - If you get a chance to talk with your cousin, I would be very keen to know if he's prepared to sell it. Many thanks!

Got a 70 model Auto Fastback up in Sydney if your interested

moneypenny - August 31st, 2006 at 01:04 PM

VW54 - Am interested as there don't seem to be any/many down here at all. Pity the Spirit 3 from Sydney is all over as it would have been nice and easy to stick it on the boat... Have you ever moved cars interstate before? Any idea on costs? Can you tell me any more about the car? History etc. Feel free to email me: tara.almarker@gmail.com

Many thanks!

Yeah I'm afraid to say they are thin on the ground down here. Actually they are thin on the ground everywhere- especially the pre 70 models. They are worth the search though.
I had to go to Melbourne to get mine....

Good luck with it, if I hear anything I'll let you know.
