crewcabconnection - August 26th, 2006 at 05:15 PM

Seller:Dean Groom
Price:$1500
Item: 1962 Beetle Bahama Blue
No Rego
Tel:02 9834 4694

Bought this original Beetle a few months ago with great intentions, not had time to even look at it. Last rego in 1985,
Totally original throughout and complete. Very good body and pan. 6v still, with all original glass, trim and bling. All chrome in good condition. OG pain in good condition. Slight rust in passenger A pillar bottom, nothing major. 1200 motor no good, but got a 1600 to go in.

Make great daily driver (my intention). Just needs someone with a little time to swap the motor and get ready for rego really. Due to lack of activity, wife has sed, fix it or sell it. Not sure which will come first.

First to see, might even buy...thanks for looking.

Hey Dean do you have any interior shots?
Can you email them to me please.

My old man is looking for a beetle to start mucking around on. I've passed the details onto him already.

Thanks...Warren

Yes Bruce was Tonys...will get some more pics...but not like Im too far away to visit...lol...yeah its a good 'un. I just wanted something to get to work and back.

No hidden nasties ... dead honest, clean beetle. The paints not bad either, the wear on the paint gives it that natural rat look..if no one wants it, I'll probably get to it over the October holidays...but one has to be seen to be making the effort in order to maintain peace with the minister in the mean time.

ps. this pic was taken at Mullers place...I've stuck it on eGay...and been bombarded with questions ... amongst which are people asking if the splitters are for sale....they are not mine, they are Tonys and Steves...hope this helps a few people out.

will take some pics of the innerds tommorrow...what can I say, its a Beetle with red and white stock trim, white headliner and original matting...nothing radical. It's in western sydney. No cuts, not missing bits. Windows go up and down, not front to back which is annoying.

Collecting new motor next week, and will be stuck in (Mick willing) next weekend as long as the rain goes away. Hoping to get new brakes on it then too...

Jeez people want a lot for $1500.00 ay....must be a Beetle thing.

Its a race, someone buy it before I fix it and rego it...which will be over the school holidays. Then you can buy it for more! ...
