Hi everyone…

edit 2/9: If someone can take it away before friday you can have it for $1000.

The time has come to sell my beetle, I don’t really want to have to let this baby go however another project (still VW and aircooled thankfully) has come along and I need to make some space before it arrives :( I was originally doing this car up purely for club based speed events however I’m going to include all the parts I have for it so can’t imagine it would take much to revert to a good, neat handling street car.

It’s a ’64-‘65ish deluxe model beetle on an IRS/Balljoint floorpan
All the rust was removed and its currently in high build primer (along with all the panels) and guide coat (I’ve even started rubbing it back :-D)
The floorpan is also all sound deadened and ready to go. It came with a 4 inch narrowed beam with adjusters (UBER LOW!!!) and I purchased new balljoints which are installed on the trailing arms. However I also grabbed a bare standard beam so if narrowed isn’t your thing you can have options.
There is an IRS gearbox fitted which I was told was in perfect working order and it also runs type 3 rear brakes and spring plates.
Only has standard steel wheels though.

I also have a pair of 911 seats mated to 1500 beetle runners that come with the car along with a pretty darn near trim match for a back seat. (all in black)

Bodywork mods: the front indicators have been shaved, the chrome trim and bumper holes are all still there and the front ¼’s have been modified to take new BMW 3 series side indicators (also included) The rear apron has been set up to be removable with some quick release fasteners (all parts are incl) I haven’t finished all the work on the rear apron, however its no harder than sanding down the rest of the car and it wont affect the primed parts so yeah… or you could just weld it back on.
The front inner guards have been clearanced for the narrowed beam so they could do with tidying up and you’ll also have to tack on the rear body mounts which have been modded to drop the early body on the late pan, however its all there so again no biggie, just cant be stuff since I don’t have my welder here at the mo.

I also have boxes full of all the misc trims, guages, switches and fittings. It should all be there along with plenty of spares.

No motor is included in the deal, I have a 1600 turbo which is mostly built but would like to hang onto it for the time being.

I think that’s all off the top of my head. I’ll take some photos in the morning sun and post them up around lunchtime for you all.

Price wise… Well, all the $$$ and time I’ve put into this I’d rather not think about :-/ I am open to any serious offers and am well aware of what cars like this (and WAY worse) are going for on ebay. So would like around $1500 mark however if you can get me the cash and the car out of the way sooner than later (not to mention save the grief of an e-bay listing) I may be prepared to go you some mates rates ;-)

Thanks guys, hope it can go to a good home and fingers crossed maybe still see a racetrack or two.
