You won't find better for the price,
and I have a nice middle seat to make it an 8 seater:thumb
ive been eyeing that one, its great price too, I could catch a $99 flight to sydney?
I would prefer a bay window though will see what else comes up.
what sort of mileage does the auto get?
marcel
You get 6-ish km/L round the city and a 9ish km/L on a run
I live about 5 km out of city centre and she only does to soccer, parks, parents etc etc runs most of the time.
Then we go on holidays to Gold Coast / Vic / western NSW and she has a great run then
Mine's for sale too.
has a subaru 2 litre turbo.
does around 14l/100km city cycle.
the caravelle aka t3 vanagon have a better ride than a bay anyday

Alas yes, I have been seen through!
my wife really likes the look of the bays she s not too fussed on the square kombi's
value for money though because theyre not as popular as bays will have to work on that
marcel
WOW 10K, you could get a very nice T3 Caravelle GL for less than that with everything!!:P
My first one is now for sale. caravelle cl 8 seater. Have pics soon gotta shrink them so they fit on site.
i now must defend the t3's in the good looks department
i owned the bay first and loved it BUT there is no comparison in ride and breaks or comfort bthe t3 rules all the way
Pics as needed yes i am trying to flood the site and convert any bay owners to the nexr generation. Do you think it will work?
i was converted.
always thought my first would be a bay, still liked the T3's but always wanted a bay.
but when it came to make the purchase the T3's looks had grown on me plus all the other practical things as well like price, age, condition etc.
also i always wanted to do a subie conversion and knew it would be easier in a T3.
Have a look on the brickyard at all the nice T3's....it's hard not to like them.

I just missed out on the lovely micro in sydney bugger!
prefer something similar
marcel
Still for sale.
you don't get seats like these in a Bay
yeah t3's make more sense they're newer, cheaper, more comfortable etc but i'd still prefer a bay
marcek
vwtype2 how much have you got on the t3?
No worries found it...
I am thinking of selling my 8 seater bay. Its a 1977 2L twin carby. Original paint and interior with mags and an overall very clean and original bus.
It is my daily driver so is well sorted and runs well.
I was going to put it up for sale in about a months time as I have a trip planned to Coffs Harbour.
I was wanting to get around $5000.
Email jeremyandsarah@dodo.com.au for pictures or questions.
I also have (agian soon for sale) a 1974 kombi. 1800 Dirves well. I am wanting to sell it with RWC but have to fix some problems etc - $1600

I am in Toowoomba QLD
