1960 VW Beetle in its original state. As per the log book, it was purchased on 30/7/60 by a young gentleman and was then purchased by my now 82 yr old
neighbour in 1961 or early 1962.
As per the photo the car has done 102669 miles.
The vehicle has been regularly serviced and well maintained the last being in June where he also replaced all the brakes but unfortunately 2 weeks
later was no longer able to drive it due to ill health, so did not bother to renew the registration on 28/7/06.

that was the estimate she sent too me. not one I pulled out of my head. the going rate is the one it sells for all the rest is conjection/spin/b.s
The car has ben sold to someone from Campbelltown apparently they have other VWs and 7 kids ???
Anyone from this forum ???
Yeah it was my bro inlaw.... great beetle...
tell him to try and keep the 50/50 taillights. there special and define the early sixties beetle and there aussie/italian optiononly. not the easy option of post 62 lights.
He got it for a Steal
Yes It was me... I am keeping stock original...Only replacing bits and pieces..
Congrats
I still have this Beetle and its going great. Been to MT Tambourne and back.
any updated pictures of it ?
