96 T4 single cab. SOLD
ragtopp - October 31st, 2006 at 09:33 PM

Four kombi utes is just to many!!!
This is a regretful sale as they always are i guess.
This looks real good and goes real well. It has 175000kms on the clock.
The tray was fully sand blasted and painted to match the cab in March this year.(prof done)
The tray can be used as pictured a flat tray(has marine carpet lining over two pack painted cheque plate),
or with matching painted drop sides, or has a full cage for moving bulk loose items or animals,
or lastly it has a frame and canopy covering the whole rear( i use this the whole of winter, no water on ya stuff)
its also real good to camp under the canopy, with the carpet tray.
It is a 96 model, 2.4 diesel, 5 cylinder.
The ute has a towing capacity in excess of two tonnes, has a tow bar setup thats two years old.
Always had the best of servicing and parts. Has good tyres, good rego, tinted windows, alloy wheels, side tool boxes that are lined with marine carpet.
The box on the back is part of the deal and cost $2000 that ute box.
Has had clear indicators fitted to the front(factory type).
It does 650-750kms per tank of fuel.
And as pic shows it has a polished alloy bull bar.
This is a real work horse, not a toy!! this thing amazes me all the time, the payload it can carry is 1490kgs!!!
My name is Eddie Storer, the ute is in Tasmania, but delivery can be arranged, coming to the day of in Vic.
My number is 0418493788.
When it goes all i can say is my T3 crew cab better pic up the work load!!!
Priced at $11000 neg

I saw it in the paper on saturday.. i was like "that can't be eddies... IT IS EDDIES!!"
Can't beleive you're selling it!

Gonna run air-cooled for the work vehicle?? Go on!

And good luck with the sale.. i can vouch for this being a very nice rig!!
Its the perfect ute for someone doing alot of resto's.. enough power to tow a car behind and all the bits on the tray!

Hi Jo. Thanks mate, i got a T3 twin cab for work now. I am wondering if it will be as good as the T4, as you know, this thing is more a little truck than a ute, and looking out the window at it know makes me feel like i might be doing the wrong thing, but its got to go unfortunately.

OK finally got the new camera to load onto photo bucket that was the only reason the pics were so old.
Anyway here they are, this is the toughest looking T4 ute ive seen in Oz!!!

By the way Jo, ive done the air cooled daily drive 40,000 kms a year thing, did it for years, now i like to drive em and preserve em and enjoy em, not service them every 6 weeks. You know what lives at home, dont get me wrong, i love me old air coolers more than anything!! We taking the type three's to the Day of!!! Rat Fest!!!

That's better!!
The background in the second pic looks familiar. I've wasted some time in that place.......

jo_tas - November 8th, 2006 at 12:52 AM

Yep! much nicer pic!
On a side note, can i join the rat club now? :P:thumb
